This piece was inspired by the four elements of hiphop; graffiti, mc'ing, dj'ing and breakdancing. I think that everyone has a special place for the hip hop culture regardless of their social context. The pieces is somewhat of a tribute to the golden age of hip hop and its contrast to todays interpretation of it.
The name comes from the famous graffiti font. The aim was to humanise the 'Brooklyn Kid' whilst maintaining subjectivity to the audience by censoring his identity.
This actually got my attention because of the title, and how well it fit the image, but then when I read your description too- it just topped it off something wonderful.
